Can a civil infraction ticket (red light, speeding (under 30mph over limit), illegal turn etc.) be erased from your driving record?
When we get a Dismissal of your ticket, Points are never assessed on your Driver’s License. However, the ticket remains on your Driving History Record, but only a Guilty Finding and an Adjudication, within the past three (3) years, can be considered for accumulating points for a license suspension. So, a Withhold of Adjudication will not add points to your license, nor can it affect your insurance rates, unless you have been involved in an accident.
But remember, when your case comes before the Judge, your entire driving history is in front of him on his computer screen and it may impact his decision. So it is really important to let us fight for your rights and to WIN those tickets!
